6. JUDGING CRITERIA & SELECTION PROCESS

This is a judged Competition. The winner will not be selected by random draw.

All eligible applications will be evaluated using the following published criteria:

Judging Category & Maximum Points per Judge

Business Story — authenticity, character and what makes the business distinctive 30

Potential Business Benefit — how the image library could meaningfully support the business 30

Creative & Visual Potential — opportunities to produce compelling, useful and distinctive photography 25

Project Fit & Feasibility — suitability for the prize scope, qualifying location and available schedule 15

TOTAL 100

Clarification of Creative & Visual Potential and Project Fit & Feasibility

Judges will consider the photographic opportunities available at the proposed business location, including the business's people, activities, products, services, workspace and other relevant visual elements. Applications will be assessed on whether the proposed project can realistically support a varied, cohesive and commercially useful collection of thirty (30) images within the prize's allotted photography time and single-location requirement. This assessment will be made using the existing published judging categories and point allocations.

JUDGING PANEL

All eligible applications will be evaluated by a panel of three (3) judges appointed by Not Normal Photography Ltd.

The panel will include NNP's Photographer and Creative Lead, a representative of NNP's management, and one additional appointed judge.

Each judge will independently evaluate every eligible application against all four published judging criteria, awarding a maximum of 100 points per application. The three judges' scores will be combined for a maximum possible total of 300 points.

Judges will record their individual scores before discussing the applications with other panel members.

The eligible business receiving the highest combined score will be selected as the winner, subject to verification of eligibility and acceptance of the prize.

In the event of a tie, the highest combined score for Potential Business Benefit will determine the winner. If a tie remains, the highest combined Business Story score will determine the winner. If the applications remain tied, the judges will conduct a further documented assessment using the published criteria.

Judges must disclose any actual or reasonably perceived conflict of interest, including a financial interest, close personal relationship or direct business involvement with an applicant.

Prior acquaintance or an ordinary past client relationship does not automatically constitute a conflict. Where a conflict could reasonably compromise impartiality, NNP will appoint an impartial replacement judge to score the affected application.

NNP will maintain reasonable records of the judging process.

All eligible applications will be evaluated fairly and consistently against the published criteria. The judges' decisions are final, subject to applicable law.
